The bottom line for me is that some things need to stay the same and some don't. Social and religious conservatism are hilariously stupid, but political conservatism definitely holds value under some circumstances. Checks and balances ya know.

Divorce, sex education, condoms and abortion on demand are family values, eh? Honest sex education is one thing, immediately sending a message of "condoms fix everything!" is providing a disservice to kids when this doesn't even cover the emotional aspect of intimacy, not to mention the failure rate of condoms (sorry, -m- but this is an aspect of social conservatism and I find it FAR from "fucking stupid"). "Abortion on demand" is largely another way of saying "fuck self-responsibility, I want to get rid of this nuisance so I can keep on fucking like a rabbit." Keep 'em cumming!

Exactly, I guess I was misunderstood by the Gallup Poll results I posted. My point really has nothing to do with Republican vs. Democrat but Conservative vs. Liberal.
