Aside from the technical jib... DPTR means 'daily program trading report' These reports released weekly are designed to show transparency through program trading at the NYSE. It should be no real shocker that GS (Goldman) dominates by trading volume by far... In some cases dominating some 80% of program volume per week. So in essence the one thing the public should want in this 'new' era of finance, being transparency, is the one thing slowly being sapped away. But hey... nothing to see here... just keep buying into those great American companies now trading at some 40x-100x earnings. Fair value must be exiting right along with transparency. |

The NYSE is itself a company... with obvious rules and regulations stemming from regulations set forth form the government, SEC, etc. And to be 100% clear. Activity is still monitored... but now it will be watered down and audited much like every other economic indicator that has to pass through the hands of everyone before the public gets to see whatever picture they want to paint. the DPTR was one of the few data points that couldnt be fudged around with. |

![]() | Re: How the big boys always win... This "casino" style of wealth managment would be nothing if it were not in fact for the monetary system itself. The issue is not the stock exchange, but the banks and leaders in power who determine who and what "wealth" is. The concept of credit, essentially is debt. And there is far more debt in this world, than there is money to compensate for the debt. Let me ask you this... how is it possible to pay debt off, when there isnt enough money in circulation to pay off the debt. ITS NOT. We are wage slaves infected with debt, in order to keep the balance of power in check. Time for the peasents to react IMO.
