Why not focus on what Obama is doing and "what you done" instead of this distraction?

Hopefully, she's planning a Presidential run to make all the liberal crybabies cry moar.

Bring on the demonization by the liberal elites!

I agree completely with you - I really, really, really hope she's planning a serious presidential run. I'd even cross over to vote for her in the primaries.

Anyway, I still find the conservative perversion of the word "elite" hilarious. That you'd use that as a pejorative term while maintaining a position as the party that represents the interests of big business and rich white people is rofl. I give you points for newspeak, but it's still tacky.

Re: Sarah Palin just resigned as Governor

Not really...liberal elitism is also alive and well, all under the guise of concern for the downtrodden and poor but we will gladly tax the hell out of those right above that status in order to fund all these wonderful government programs. The road to hell is paved with the best intentions after all. The media does indeed stand staunchly behind it. Anyone with half a brain can see it with the way they cover for the administration and the way they have been blindly following Obama for at least a year. Thankfully, even Helen Thomas (liberal for life-type woman) is beginning to see right through them (posted yesterday, several threads down).

Even Colin Powell is turning an about-face for getting behind spend-happy, "transparent" Obama: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...liticalflipper

Re: Sarah Palin just resigned as Governor

Rumor has it that it has to do with the impending release of the emails they've been stalling on since November. Who knows though. She's been in a constant onslaught of ethics investigations and demands for release of tons of records that they've been doing a damn good job staving off. Maybe she just got sick of it.

But I would LOVE for her to run in 2012. Obama wouldn't even have to campaign. He'd just have to sit back and laugh at her along with everyone else. She can't open her mouth without sticking her foot in it.

What politician isn't an ethics investigation?

And I wouldn't count your chickens on Obama just yet. Yea, he's fresh & new to many, but at the rate he's going he's going to lose his own party before the end of his term....

Re: Sarah Palin just resigned as Governor

Yea, unhip, just what we need, another 4 years of Obama. Have you noticed how he's spending? And have you noticed what's being proposed to pay for all of this? Middle-class gouging. Have you noticed how his so-called proclamations of transparency and openness are amounting to little more than hollow pleasantries for simple minds to easily digest?

Fees, I don't really care when Powell stood behind him as a candidate...it was irresponsible and the recent about-face is pretty damn telling.

That's no way to fix the economy while simultaneously pushing a deficit-ballooning, socialist-leaning agenda that makes it more difficult for even an average wage earner (cap and trade will have this effect...an effective tax on those making $250,000 or less) to finance.

Re: Sarah Palin just resigned as Governor

If Bush managed to get elected to a second term, there is no way in hell Obama won't. Besides, everyone I know who voted for him is still perfectly happy with their decision and would vote for him again. Everyone is concerned with spending, but when Obama's health plan is approved, it's going to be a slam dunk for him. He'll get credit for doing what Clinton wasn't able to. The biggest issue for every lib/independent I know, aside from Iraq, was healthcare reform.

Re: Sarah Palin just resigned as Governor

Ya but in light of what transpired since that promise was likely made, I'm not sure the timing is all that great.

And let's not forget the model on which it is based in Massachussetts where it only sees a 26% approval rating.

Re: Sarah Palin just resigned as Governor

whatever your political affiliation, the fact is she quit. hard to see how deserting the people who elected you could help your political career. will be hard to convince future voters that you won't give up on them if the going gets tough (or things get boring).
