Then I might have realized that he is talking about a "very small group" of 9/11 victims families who have created a wacko group called the 9/11 Truth Commission which, still.... (after 8yrs) is propagating the crazy idea that The U.S. Government brought down the twin towers and killed almost 3,000 Americans. If that isn't what happened then the "Evil JEWS" did it. It's absolute craziness! and YES, the news reports about this type of craziness is EXACTLY what the terrorists like to hear. I can tell you with absolute fact (because I've seen it and heard it with my own eyes & ears) that the Mujahideen often know more about what is going on both inside and outside our country. So, in light of the "Whole Story"! I'd have to say... I HATE 9/11 VICTIMS FAMILIES WHO WANT TO USE THE DEATH OF THEIR LOVED ONE TO FUEL THEIR ANTI-AMERICAN CONSPIRACIES -- ALSO!

Yep: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ...form_a_success It was a broader statement he made, in any case, about all youtube videos that us dumbfucks are posting here. Congrats on narrowing in on the one area you could. |

well, lets just take a look at the article he posted. 27% of the population of mass say healthcare has gotten better and 37% have no say which translates to 64% - a majority last time i checked - stating that it is better or has not been affected. next 21% say it has made healthcare cheaper and 44% say they have not seen a change - wow another majority saying its either cheaper or they see no change. so what the fuck was the point in posting that article? i havent the slightest that article is a crock of shit. i will be happy to go more into it later, but this overblown media bs is a bunch of bull not even worth talking to. i am a pretentious asshat yes. do i give a shit? not really. call me whatever you wish. btw - the system that is in front of the panel is not a single payor strategy. the truth is that it involves the private sector and relies on the private sector to help change and evolve the healthcare system. a fix is a long way off and there are many factors. one large one is having multiple payors how will everyone be parsed out to each group and how can that fairly be done? how do you ensure that everyone gets a fair amount of pre-existing conditions when there are less than 20-40% electronic medical records? there are a lot of issues and there is no easy answer. i do not feel that this will be pushed through swiftly and the end of the world is not right around the corner. i spoke to many foreign physicians last month at asco and they all said the same thing - oh thats nice, but we dont have to worry about people not being treated due to the lack of reimbursement - we treat people no matter what and we treat them the best we can. we do not worry about cost - we work to fix the issue at hand. the way the healthcare system is currently set up is extremely incorrect. the system is overburdened due to the correct care not being covered and being given in the wrong setting. instead of getting your chemo in the outpatient setting (im talking a 10 minute shot here) they are being denied (even with that awesome private payor insurance that everyone is saying is so great and american) and being sent to the hospital so we, the patient or the taxpayer, can pay 10 times the fee schedule due because it is being done in the incorrect setting. not to mention there being govt assisted programs like 340B/PHS pricing being given to those hospitals due to the indigent population (>11%) that are using it as a loophole to make an extra 35% on drug spend. A lot of these issues have arisen due to spite against physicians, but thats just my opinion - That these guys who treat our sickest people make too much money so the govt should intervene and ruin the level of care and send it to a hospital so they can charge the hell out of all of us. If that 340B pricing was given to the clinics (where it belongs) we wouldnt be referring anyone to the hospital and it would save the system TONS of money. couple that with parsing down the number of insurance plans available and actually being paid the fee schedule that you contract with private payors and medicare without expecting to write off every 60 cents on the dollar - that would be a start. I had a physician pull up all of his insurance plans in his PM the other day and it was over 1500. 1500 plans are needed? lol. give me a break. we could get by with 10 payors with a low medium and highly touted plan. lastly, how about a 5 year patent on a drug after it hits the market? that is a start and EXTREMELY fair. after a drug goes generic its price cuts 60% overnight. we are talking thousands of dollars saved overnight and these patents currently run for years and years. lets give the drug company some time to recoup costs (not saying they are so deep in R&D like most of you people think i am) just saying that they did bring this to market and this is america so they have a chance just like every other business to make money, but it should not be at the cost of the people. there is wasted money everywhere. good enough xian? jeesus

yeah well, I do my best there are certainly many issues and you point out that easy solutions are in short supply. We can all agree that the thing is broken and it needs fixing. The debate is how to do so without fucking it up worse. I advocate specific incremental changes - such as the medical records streamlining you've mentioned before and start there and keep moving. I'm specifically concerned about massive sweeping and amazingly expensive changes proposed. I don't think either point unreasonable. The details... yeah, we can fight over them but I'll go ahead and agree with you again on another point... I just don't much feel like it. |

^Thank you, exactly right. It's the radical sudden changes that could be both costly and regrettable. And thanks for turning a corner and delivering your thoughts on the matter. I was taking the headline of that poll, that only 26% felt it was a success. As far as degree of improvement is concerned, I guess that can be debated as you have rather extensively done. |

I pledge allegiance to the confederate flag, one nation run by defense contractors and big oil companies, I'm a dumb redneck that pays $4.00 a gallon gas and buys the bull from greedy white Right wingers.

![]() | Re: Dems ignore the Pledge of Allegiance You are not a great American for saying that. You see, Jesus is coming back and the book of revelation prophecies are being fulfilled. Bush will be vindicated. His access of evil speech was one of the greatest speeches in history right behind Adolf Hitler.
