Vinnie, these (and I mean most) elected officials and government bureaucrats are nothing but a bunch of spoiled children pulling the tactics of a spoiled child. They could care less about what is right for the country and those who trusted them enough to elect them. They only care about power, infulence, special interests, and doing whatever they can to stay in thier possitions. Our country is going to chit due to both republicans and democrats. Yet now the dems have had a taste of power they haven't had in a long time. So they are taking full advantage of it, reaching and grabbing at any power they can. Because they know they'll loose a lot of it once the American people wise up. Thats why everything is moving in fast forward right now. PS: whether you like Glenn Beck or not. Read his book Common Sence: The Case Against an Out-of-Control Government. Its a great read.

Yea, Jaesun...power corrupts no matter the party as is pretty apparent in that youtube vid. The two-party system is failing us but since too many heads stay crammed in rear-ends, all that's left is a dwindling minority forced to vote for the perceived lesser of 2 evils due to media malfeasance (in spite of all the vitriol flung at McCain and especially Palin, it was the obvious choice for those who didn't want to steamroll into worse spending and socialism, but that's okay to the Obama bots...as apparently he alone has the power to save us from the impending inflation, somehow!). And Brad, just because Beck's an outspoken conservative doesn't make him devoid of all common sense. I could throw that attack on its head and say the same thing about Obama right now and some of these lunatic liberal ideas that are being rammed through the legislature without any accountability whatsoever. Die while you lie in a 6-month wait for surgery. Look what the defense of the left has come to...lmfao. By sinking to your level, I've likely killed off 10 IQ points. Last edited by vinnie97; 07-04-09 at 07:25 AM. |

Though Beck is on the dreaded FNC, speaks out against bigger government, ridiculous government spending/debt (that'll kill this country in the end), and he is for traditional family values. I'm pretty sure he truely falls under the catagory of libertarian. If you've ever watched the show you'd know that. I don't think it matters to him Rep, Dem, Conservative, Liberal, etc. He simply sees all of the government BS and speaks out against it. From both of the Obama and Bush administrations.

Democratic politicians are no longer liberals. They have moved to the right and the Republicans have moved to the nut house. Can't call the governing Dems liberals anymore. And the one thing I can't understand is why Dems are always referred to as elitist. I know more elitist Republicans than I do Dems and I've got an equal number of friends on both sides. |

Jaesun, he's impartial similar to Michael Savage (he also railed against Bush's pseudoconservatism), I suspect. And...Democratic politicians moved to the right?? That's good comedy...they've moved to the left if any direction. How else do you explain some of this crazy-ass legislation they've been passing (without fully reading, I might add) lately? Common sense, please! I can't believe people are swallowing the rhetoric spouted by the so-called commander-in-chief. His latest apology tour just commenced today. |
