![]() | obamas "change" crap and government transparency
so i dont get it, obama touts all this about change, and government spending run a muck etc, he cuts millitary spending on lots of projects like f22 yet he doubles last years budget of "BLACK OPS" to 50billion, so much for obama putting a check on the pentagon spending this is 50 billion dollars that is not accountable for, for top secret and above projects, wtf! these parts of the government like the nro, and such have no oversight what so ever, whistleblowers and former heads of these secret orgs have even stated that things are so out of hand, that there projects are not even upheld by constitution, there are amends in laws for these blackops that say legally they can not b called to court, nor do laws apply to them and they do not have to abide by any parts of the supreme court. to me this is just stupid, 20 something levels above top secret meaning not even our own president can access the information or make it public even if he wanted to, and they cannot even if the court ordered it, they are above the law and spending all kinds of cash on spying, ufo's, top secret planes etc yet here is obama talkin about change and a government with oversight, man put that 50billion dollars to some better use |

You know what I'm sick of? I'm sick of people bitching about Obama, not even a year into his presidency. When we were hit on 9-11, the whole country rallied behind Bush. It was a special situation, an emergency, and we put all of our shitty little complaints and preferences aside and stood behind our president. Guess what? We have been hit again. Another emergency. Another extremely scary and serious event has taken place. I, for one, will stand behind my president and trust that they are doing everything they can to keep our country strong. Seriously, I'm tired of all of this whining and complaining. Where is YOUR patriotism? Where is YOUR support during one of our country's biggest crisis? Alot of people didn't particularly like Bush, but when our country faced a horrible situation, we all rallied around him. We stood behind him for years. We gave him his chance. Obama has been in office for a few months. Our country is facing yet another serious and frightening challenge. Have some fucking respect. Have some pride. Give him a chance. If after 4 years he has ran our country into the ground, then you can say I told you so. All of this hatred and bad-mouthing from the right isn't doing ANYTHING AT ALL for the conservatives. Its a democratic strategist's wet dream. |

This current disaster has been wrought by power brokers at the top who, as far as I can, are simply being rewarded for the bad behavior that got us here. For that reason, it's hard to "rally behind Obama." The whole healthcare facade and cap and trade taxation ideas speak for themselves...why should we just blindly jump on board something that will hasten our demise? |

I'll have you remember that the entire country rallied behind a massively expensive war that had absolutely nothing to do with 9-11. We did it without even flinching. I never understood it, but I supported it for a very long time, and like many others, I hoped for the best. Still to this day, I don't understand it, but I will at least admit that there were good things that came out it. I just don't understand the logic behind all of these complaints regarding the current administration. Praying for failure is something that I just can't feature. |

The aliens must be getting tired of that shitty 1950's Turqoise decor at Area 51. Shit just needs some remodelling, y0. Maybe some marble counter tops, modern appliances. We keep them happy and they keep feeding us new fighter jet designs. It's a trade off.

I feel really sad for you. You honestly think one President is different than the next.

The military industrial complex has been a big ugly beast for over 50 years now and will most likely continue to be one. I certainly don't like the idea that there are agencies operating above the law. There needs to be some accountability. That's just plain scary. As for the defense budget, I can't form an opinion on it yet as there are still changes being made. Projects will be weighed, canceled, shuffled, and money will be repurposed, etc... I'll wait to see what it look likes by the end of the year. Our defense budget makes up half of the total global spending on defense, which is just nuts. If a decent amount is reduced, i'll be content (for the moment), but if not, I'll certainly have a few choice words to say.

Agreed, although not sure about the depth in your quote. Besides the fact of his lies, I do not believe he is a REAL president. Even though Bush had his enemies, I stood behind him. Yes we can talk about the war, but he continued and did not back down no matter what was said, written or thought about, that's a leader, continuing to pursue action, I believe him and all our past presidents were REAL presidents. This guy has something up his sleeve and I know it. We are in real life history right now. There hasn't been any leader in history of his mark on the World since Hitler. Getting my drift? Minus bin laden of course, but that foo's in hiding like a little bitch....
