good times at the Capitol. After the ditz from Rep. Cao's office fucked up our tour and sent us off on the shitty group tour.....I went over to the Hart Senate Building to get tickets from Sen. Vitter's office and see if I could get a hooker too. Anyways, walked back to the Capitol Visitor Center (CVC). Met up with my mom at the CVC and waited 45 minutes in the line for the Viewing Gallery. We finally get up to the front and they tell us we can wait there and watch it on the TV's but we probably won't get upstairs since people aren't moving. (Did not realize Soteamayor vote was today...) So the conversation went...

Me : Don't you think it would have been useful to tell us that 45 minutes ago when we first got in line that we probably wouldn't get upstairs?

Lady: We're just trying to help. You can wait and watch it on the TV's and we'll take you upstairs if room opens.

Me: You're not helping me since you've wasted my time for by not letting me and everyone else in line know that we won't be able to view the senate. I have CSPAN at my hotel if i wanted to watch it that way. I've been in line 45 minutes and I have better things to do...

Lady : (says to the other girl) I'm not letting him in.

Me : I'm leaving. You've already wasted my time and I can watch it at home on TV.
