They can't stand the fact he's so well loved by so many across the globe. He's an extremely popular president on a global scale, much like Clinton was. Granted, his ratings are falling right now because of the health care reform issue, but the pubs are just bitter because nobody likes them anymore. haha

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Why do conservatives refer to Obama as 'The Annointed One' Our presidents will continue to transform into Archetypes sadly. The populace is so far removed from the political process that they easily become more than men.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Bush was destroyed by the media and liberals nonstop for years on end. Blamed for Katrina, 911, war crimes, shit man...you name it and its somehow Bush's fault. And then Obama has been adored by the media and liberals nonstop in one massive swooning session for the past year and a half. And he has been held as a savior (hints why people call him the Annointed One) even when the real effects of what he is doing aren't clear yet.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Why do conservatives refer to Obama as 'The Annointed One' Still transcended flesh and blood for both sides of the political spectrum. Thats the way of things when the governing power carries a sort of mystery to it and the common man has little to relate with when it comes to the domain of the powerful. There's a comic book company that casts political leaders in that light. They do special issues for people like Powell, Obama, Palin etc. |
