If Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison couldn't keep up in Washington as our nation's economy went in the tank, what makes her think she can do any better in Austin?

Who is the real Kay Bailey Hutchison? Is she the moderate she wants Texans to believe she is, faking it when she appeals to the extreme right - or is she really no different than Rick Perry?

There's really not a dime's worth of difference between the two - which is why Texans will not see any positive changes until we elect Democrats to lead our state.

John McCain also voted no for her. All Democrats and Independents voted yes.

Hutchison won't get the Latin vote in Texas.

That presumes that latin voters otherwise predisposed to vote for a Republican will refuse to do so because she voted against a judge who is regarded as a leftist/activist by Republicans and conservatives. You're suggesting ethnicity will trump their political ideology. I don't buy that.
