But only one of the bills is specifically targeted to the economy. In fact, the Cap & Trade bill is predicted (by the White House) to screw up the economy even worse.

My point with the question is to display the fact that the current administration does NOT want the average American to know exactly what it happening.

Do you know exactly what is happening?
Do you know that it is impossible to pay for most of this?
Do you care?

The reason you should care is that the money does not come out of thin air.

Do you know how much money we have printed in the past 7 months?
Did you learn in your Economics 101 class what happens when you continue to print money with no backing?

Do you know how much we will now be paying Communist China after they have invested over $750 billion?

I just think it's interesting how so many have posted, yet said very little about any of the questions posed.

The only answers you have are that I'm the one that is eff'ed up for asking the questions.

I think at some point most of us have to face the fact that these questions, while important and relevant, are far too complicated for us to truly understand. I'm sure a few of you are actually self-centered enough to think that you have complete comprehension of these issues, but if that were true, you most likey wouldn't be wasting your time analyzing economic and poilitical theories in a dance music forum.

David's contributions around here are indeed amazing. I usually skip over most of the crap in the politics section to read his comments exclusively.

The point I was making is that many of the issues we talk about here at DDM are far too complicated for us to really understand. Some of the world's most renowned economic minds will admit that they don't have all of the answers. Global issues are equally complex, economic or not.
