Remember "WE" left the vacuum that allowed the Taliban to take over? We ignored them while "their" civil war raged on and hundreds of thousands died?

Now the exact same people are wanting us to bail on them again.

and Fees, if you would like to educate yourself on the reality of what's going on either in Afghanistan, Iraq or the Phillipines... there is still time and I can get you all trained up and you could be there within a year.

This is completely dependent on POV. If one is assuming a fully US based model of world operation then every war, nation destabilizing, arms dealing, drug trafficking, assassinations operation, is completely justifiable. Those in power "had" to do what was necessary in order to maintain our standard of living and our place in the overall game of banks and wars.

If one takes a "world view," the US has can be said to have done and still do some IMMENSELY shady and hypocritical things.

It isn't "my definition". It's the actual definition. And I agree with you that military action was need to take down AQ and is needed to help Afghanistan.
