this is the second time that ive heard of FBI agents doing this type of thing. its like they go searching these guys out and say they can get them explosive devices. as great as it is, it seems like these are set up cases that make the FBI look good.

no, i just think these are some amateur terrorists that could never acquire bombs in their own right. even terrorists are keen not to give just anyone some grenades or a rocket launcher. if we are going by what we have seen on a global scale, its not 19 yr olds without backing that are masterminding these plots.

im not talking iraq, im talking international terrorist plots. which is what this one would have been. of course its easy to make a bomb. however, its not easy to make a bomb that would blow up a 50 story building as a illegal alien who is of middle eastern descent in the aftermath of 9/11 and OKC bombings.

A single bomb wouldn't blow up a 50 story building anyways. If the intent is just to kill a few people and scream "Allah Akhbar", that's extremely easy to do. I'm honestly surprised their even resorting to trying to acquire a bomb rather than just getting a hold of a bunch of propane/hydrogen tanks (all you need is a detonator of some kind and you have a frag bomb right there), shoving them into a van, and driving them into shit.

maybe because these aren't 'real' terrorists(in this case a single real terrorist). which is why im saying that it looks like a FBI 'hey we're doing something' type gig. we could go(maybe i could) go to a mosque, start chatting up somebody and they would probably be down for the cause. but outside of being down, could or would they actually do it? no.

its like feds busting kids selling 1000 hits of a drug. is it a lot of drugs? to the common person, yes.

are they real drug dealers that have international distribution connections and violent tendencies. no. does it help stop crime, no.
