if I was selling 1000 pills a month and read a story about a dude getting popped for 1000 pills up the road, i might reconsider what i'm doing

maybe because these aren't 'real' terrorists(in this case a single real terrorist). which is why im saying that it looks like a FBI 'hey we're doing something' type gig. we could go(maybe i could) go to a mosque, start chatting up somebody and they would probably be down for the cause. but outside of being down, could or would they actually do it? no.

Didn't they wait until he actually hit the switch? That would satisfy the being down and would do it. He COULD have easily done it too. Does every positive news coming from the government have to be a conspiracy to you? Is it so hard to consider the possibility that the FBI was doing their job and managed to thwart to minor bombings?

The feds will pretty frequently allow small time dealers to keep selling so they can try to figure out who the supplier is and try to stop the source (useless imo but that's a different discussion). They don't have that luxury when it comes to bomb plots.

Anyone notice that every time the patriot act is up for renewall they magically bust a bunch of terroists that were planning to take down a skyscraper.

Last time it was up for renewal they busted those arabs in Florida that were going to take down the Sears Tower in Chicago. It was big shit in the news for weeks...then you never heard about it after the patriot act was renewed. Since then all charges were dropped against those guys because it turned out they didnt even have the resources to rent a car much less carry out a terrorist attack. It was revealed that the under cover FBI agents were the ones pushing them to plan the attack the entire time.

So now once again....week of patriot act renewal terrorists picked up in almost every big city in the country. Terrorists that had no actual bombs or means to get real bombs. Terrorists working with undercover FBI agents who provided them with fake bombs etc.

How much do you want to bet all charges are dropped against this kid as soon as the patriot act is renewed again.
