But in order for that to make any sense Keith it would need to be unique to the American conservative and it isn't. It's pretty common throughout recorded time where ever you wish to look. You can cite to cultures that accepted homosexuality more or less openly but you're gonna be looking a long time to find one that was accepting of gay marriage.

Nah, Keith, I just oppose the cultural transformation in which some of them seem to be constantly engaged. I've had some homosexual acquaintances, believe it or not (even have a cousin who moved to the land of the fairy, San Fran), and I managed not to lop off their heads.

Those are simply the actions of a guilty few. Their outspokenness on a national scale and in directing policy is obviously an effort to right the perceived wrongs of taking their aberrant thoughts to the final conclusion in their private lives (i.e. engaging in relations with other men). If Kinsey was correct, no one can claim 100% of their attraction is to the opposite sex. Rather, it is a continuum and where one exists on the continuum is shaped most strongly by their childhood environment, relationship with their parents, etc. (I would contend there are other factors that can contribute one way or another as well, like hormonal imbalances). That doesn't preclude people from using self-control and making moral choices for their personal lives and also obviously paints a hypocritical picture for the men in that documentary.

So, is he a conservative Nigerian/Egyptian homo pinata or is your example unrepresentative?

In order to blame conservatives for X Keith you're going to have to find something that isn't so easily attributed to so many across so broad a spectrum. I know you hate 'em but that's not sufficient to make your case. You need facts too.

Many conservatives, including this one and the editorial board of National Review support legalization. So, fouled off.

The issue does tend to be more of a social conservative issue but their are plenty of Democrats who fall into that catagory... your good church going dems for example.
