All I can say is give him time. I mean he's only been in office for 10 months or so now. I don't know what all promises he's made cuz it seems he's made everyone a promise but what president doesn't promise you the world? He'll make good on his words tho. I believe in Barrack Obama. ![]()

Interestingly... he's had the largest drop in approval rating over the comparable period of any president in the last 50 years. The Dems who were slaughtering the GOP in every catagory have seen the generic ballot gap shrink to negligible margins. That's zero credit for the GOP incidentally - they haven't done much - nor, frankly, can they. The GOP faithful have remained the GOP faithful as could be expected. However, the crucial squishy middle have abandoned Obama et al by the bus load. I suspect that's largely behind his stupid war on FOX. An attempt to bind the left who, as in this video, are getting restless and upset with his failure to give you universal health care, get us out of Iraq and Afganistan (and still contemplating escalating in Afganistan), the continued high rates of unemployment etc etc etc. When SNL does a "jack squat" skit on Obama you know he's get some problems. |

I am not surprised by his failure to act, or for that matter, the failure of the people who were so in love with him to do anything to build a movement behind his promises.

Nah, you can't: White House: Policy 'czars' won't testify That runs counter to the campaign promises of openness. When are you going to figure out what a phony this admin is? |

His failure to act? Please! He's been in office for what 10 months? When some of you talk this way it only further show's your stupidity on the politics tip. He's got his hands full and to be honest you should be sincerely glad he's the one attempting to resolve these matters instead of his opponents that were running for office.

I though approval ratings didn't matter when Bush was in office. "Historians will have to judge....too soon and ratings don't matter" Now they do matter?

Previously, my comments on GW were about whether or not his presidency was a success. His ratings spoke for themselves and the elections that followed were indicative of those ratings. But history will judge whetehr his presidency was a success or not. So too will we need to wait for the perspective history brings to judge Obama's presidency. But again, his current ratings speak volumes with regard to current public opinion. You seem to have confused the two points. I hope this helped clarify that confusion you've been laboring under. | ||
