What are we left with? ![]() If we could get a real Mr Smith Goes to Washington kind of feeling going on on MULTIPLE fronts, that would be fantastic. The reality of things says "No" (even with the president-elect at the moment). Lots of bureaucratic tape lies in between candid response to the public and the public's needs/wants.

But as for the first part... it happened for the Dems just one year ago. And really, does anyone give a fuck who is the governor in those states? Not me.

Waiting for Marxism to take hold doesn't seem like something that would be in the interest of self-preservation or what made America great. Quote:
Constitutional, Libertarian or Conservative parties for me but I sadly can't imagine them gaining any foothold either...not without something akin to a revolution. And if we continue on the current path, that seems all but inevitable. No, but some are incapable of following the clues that are left directly in front of their face, or they conveniently brush them aside as insignificant or of no concern. Some folks are seemingly eager to be led to the slaughter. For those, it will be a rude awakening. | ||

![]() You are kidding about Marxism here, right? I'm just asking so that I don't run you off in a holy terror otherwise (kekekeke). LOL @ the Green Party comment.

Yea, after seeing the White House visitor list today and the continued radicals that ingratiate themselves in the cabinet/inner circle/czar list, I am getting more concerned by the day. What is Jeremiah Wright, racist to the extreme (and Marxist admirer) and supposedly someone who Obama disavowed, doing at the White House? Hell, Black Party leader, Malik Zulu Shabazz, even visited the White House...and I don't see how welcoming in these kinds of characters, that use racism as a tool, for an afternoon tea is the kind of change any liberal white voted for...unless they really are that self-loathing to think they deserve it.

![]() If I were in your shoes, I'd let that stuff alarm me as well. If it wasn't my party, I'd be kind of perturbed, too.

Thanks for the heads up, Vinnie. To Farangba: I know. I still reserve my right to pass judgment until the end of year one. ![]() Quote:
According to what we are hearing from angles on both sides, the "war" is coming (referring to infighting amongst Americans). Is there no way for referendum to sort that out before we turn to an actual civil war? Martial law would come into play WELL before things got to that level, but all it would take would be someone smart to step in, grab pundit A's ear from the Dems and pundit B from the Reps, get them on board to tear down the old standard, launch an internet campaign, then go hog wild with these next 3 years to set up for at least a candidate for the next election. George Stephanopoulos did WONDERS with Bill Clinton in grooming and attacking the MTV generation, news buzz, and political spin. Get someone of his caliber to think about splitting old ties to form something with the Green fervor, the reserved thought of the Right, and the open to all class extolling hands of the Left and within 12 years you could actually have something to challenge the status quo. The rise of the internet has brought TREMENDOUS stride in public awareness and THAT is the key weapon with which to inform and in this case, contain some of that public rage. That's why people like Olbermann and Stewart are so popular. People look to them as screaming out FOR them. Why not actually get someone who can actually do something for you into power? I think THAT is what is missing here. You just have to have someone notable willing to cast their lot in with it first. Radical, I know. Plausible? Barely. Would I back it? Absolutely.
