I think we might have had songs sang about our founding fathers but I can't recollect ever singing anything about a sitting POTUS. However I do remember in Jr. High they had some of our teachers talk to us about the importance of voting and they kept promoting Clinton. I don't even think any of us knew enough about any of the candidates at that age but I'll tell you there were a lot of students pulling for Clinton after their talk.

Looks can be deceiving. I just feel that the majority of the younguns who brought the vote in last year's election did so based on celebrity status and "no more Bush!" versus having concrete reasons for making their selection.
