Without making a value judgement here, or taking one side or the other, I would like to point out, respectfully, that anyone of intelligence can twist logic and common sense around to claim that their opinion or belief is true. Has anyone ever talked to a militia-conspiracy type person? They have lots of facts and strings of logic to prove some pretty wild things. Hitler had a lot of so called proven facts to say that his race was superior.
Again, I'm not discounting or player hating anything you have said, but this is really an arbitrary topic to try and prove or disprove. Because ultimately, it is not these facts or logic that will lead people to real faith, but rather emotion, spirituality, and perhaps even love. Isn't that what Christ ulitmately stood for? God's love of mankind?
Even though I'm agnostic, I think it is cool that you have put so much thought into your beliefs. I don't think many Christians really think about it that much, which is sad. Even though, blind faith is a noble concept, I think the Godhead would rather his followers be informed and intelligent people. Otherwise, why make such a big deal about the whole free-will thing.
Of course, I've just twisted some logic here myself. Best piece of advice I ever got. . ."Never take advice, including this."
