Why would I want to boycott the French?

I have no problems with the French, just as I, in general, have no problems with Americans.

What a couple of dumbass politicians in BOTH countries do may be ridiculous, but that doesn't make me despise the populace.

Yeah... I didn't make the list.

Interestingly enough, Grey Goose seems to be the drink of choice of the majority of popular DJs... Personally, I think Stoli is far superior...

Why would you want to boycott the French?

Is it because they are not supporting the US in invading a Sovereign nation on the whim of your President.

That's the general, and by general I mean American ,consensus.

It's retarded, to say the least.

I'm not American so I have no desire to boycott anything French just because they won't bow down and worship. Besides one of my best friends is French, and my two favorite alchoholic drinks are French(Grey Goose Vodka and Chartreuse.)

No, it's because they are French... it has nothing to do with what they support. Hahahahaha...

As so succinctly put by Mr. Jefferson, those of us who do not feel that the French position is justified - that being a unilateral rejection of ANY proposal - can also choose to boycott French products and make a financial contribution in addition to our rejection of their logic... meaning, a commercial impact accompanies our distaste for their view. Boycotting can work, and in certain cases, work well. So, until the French pull their heads out of their French arses, I choose to go without Brie at my next party... But that's my choice...

Regardless how the French voted, I still think that the Resolution would have been knocked back for not having the required 9 votes to pass.

France, Germany, Russia and China were not in favour of it.

Its funny how 3 of the 5 permenant members of the Security council are against it but the Americans still push on.

Does Iraq ahve the option to go the UN and ask for help to defend it against this attack?
