Pro War Rally on March 22, 2003
Supporters of the U.S. military’s intervention in Iraq are planning to voice their stance at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 22nd, outside the Old Red Courthouse in downtown Dallas.
"We want to portray to America and the community that we are behind our troops in the military 100 percent," says Charles Lingerfelt, an organizer of Saturday's courthouse rally. More than 1,000 representatives of the Dallas-area Kurdish community are expected to join members of more than a half dozen organizations in support of U.S. efforts to overthrow Saddam Hussein.
