Well, I found a link to almost the entire book "what unlce sam really wants" by Noam Chomsky. If no one else reads the ideas in this link...I hope that Jdawg and other defenders of the war effort do. Noam Chomsky is extremely intelligent and well read in politics and is a Professor (at Harvard maybe) in political science. If you want to know what "uncle sam really wants"...read some of this book online.

Don't be surprised if you lose a little faith in our governments "humanitarian" efforts...

I own that book.
Noam Chomsky is brutally honest and very intelligent, but he does interject his personal political views, include a very socialist outlook, into quite a bit of his writing.

Noam Chomsky has written a LOT of books. I own many of them. He is a political activist, but a professor of LINGUISTICS at MIT. He is the founder of modern linguistics. Completely redesigned it with his masters thesis.

What appears to be "socialist" to you isn't. If you actually read Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations you would find more socialist thought than you think. He isn't a socialist at all. He happens to be an anarchist (not in the way many are taking that, but in a quasi-libertarian manner) and believes in participatory economics.
