I am currently in talks with Sony (France) about a possible record deal. I am looking for a rapper(s) for some recordings.

I need someone who writes their own lyrics... INTELLIGENT lyrics... no Gangsta shit... and has a smooth, laid-back voice and vibe. The closest examples I could give are: Q-Tip, Digable Planets, Digital Underground, De La Soul, Bahamadia, etc...

This is happy, groove music with radio-friendly hooks and FAT beats. From hip-hop to house. Think 'Groove Armada meets Mantronix'.

Originality is a plus... NO DISCRIMINATION, but you must have a good head on your shoulders. Vulgarity is not a problem, but it should be minimal and have a point if present. No meth-heads or speed-freaks.

Male/Female encouraged, and I may call you to 'hear what you got' on the spot.
