The capability to identify a man automatically based on his facial structure, or to locate a woman digitally based on her distinctive gait is not what makes DIVA special. The Department of Defense has been contracting with developers of those technologies for years.

they have been doing this kind of stuff overseas for years. in the united kingdom. cameras on every streetcorner.

They've recently introduced ANPS too, "Automatic Number Plate Scanner" - which is going to do wonders at enforcing crimes linked to vehicles.

I don't have a problem with any of this sort of technology, if it prevents or detects crime in public places, great.
