Q. Were the Japanese and Germans as ungreatful as the Iraqis are being now, when the United States started to rebuild their entire countries at the end of WWII?

Probably.

I don't see why the Iraqis should be overburdenly grateful that the US busted the country up, killed thousands, has denied humanitarian aid be properly distributed, but a great number of Iraqis out of work, shot protesters during peaceful, seemingly democratic protests, ignored their demands, allowed looting to occur across the country, and basically reinstalled the old government with a new figurehead.

Yeah, I'm sure they would much rather have a time machine to go back in time when everything was PLURY with Saddam.
