This was revealed back when they arrested her. And not to defend E use, but it couldn't possibly be the WEED which made her paranoid could it?

Hell, even playing devil's advocate and going for the "drugs made me do it" defense, the chemical effect would have worn off after a few hours anyways and she could have gotten the guy to a hospital. I suppose the E made her rip the blood soaked seats out of the car and try to burn them in the back yard?

I think she's just some stupid cunt who is trying to use a current popular drug paranoia in her defense. If she would have hit the guy in the 90's it would have been the heroins fault, the coke's fault in the 80's...etc.

In ANY case, don't drunk drivers go to jail for vehicular manslaughter?

Its always been my understanding that whether you are intoxicated doesn't really matter from a legal perspective anyway (in regards to your defensive)

Otherwise, you could just throw down a few shots of tequila before robbing a bank, and claim you were "drunk and didnt know what you were doing"

If you are *ucked up period, and you don't turn yourself in until later, there is no proof that you were on drugs or drinking. There is no proof if you don't take a drug test ordered by the police. So, what is her point? She used this as a defense for what she did, I take it? Whatever!!!!!!! X would make you want to help the person! Not hide the person! Right? Warning: when taking X, you might hit someone in the road, then get stuck to the windshield of your car, and you might try to hide the body for days in your garage!

I'm sure this would be the case if she had stopped when she hit the guy and tried to help/call the police.

They charged her with murder because they proved (by blood splatter in the car from him coughing/choking) that the man was still alive and she let him die in her garage w/o doing anything to stop it.

I think it's odd that she did not help the guy while under the influence of X. The LAST thing you wanna do is see anyone in pain or be crying and shit. Lame defense in my opinon. Drugs and alcohol are no excuse. It's a human being we're talking about. It's something you learn at a very early age. The difference between right and wrong. Plus the woman is a nurses assistant, she had to know that seeing a half dead man through her windsheild needs medical attention. On a side note, I had a big fat next door neighbor that was on 4 pills of ecstacy one night, witnessed a horrific car accident and pulled 5 people out of a burning car about 10 years ago. He was on the nightly news completely fucked out of his mind then later was featured on Rescue 911. That is no excuse, she made a bad decision.
