I can totally understand why one individual would keep such vital information that can affect the whole geopolitical climate like that from being released to the public... y'know... gotta maintain the element of surprise & whatnot. We wouldn't want someone to steal his thunder.

ok, this is the rundown. noone is keeping this secret. its just that certain media sources dont care about the findings of the weapons. they are only out to get bush, thats the only outcome i could come up with. i have heard it from an interview with brokaw via david kay in baghdad. also through another source also with david kay saying that there are iraqi citizens coming forward with boxes of documents that the rep guard stashed in their homes, caches of weapons; etc. scientists are talking now i've heard. everything is coming out in the open. they werent "too" specific though. about us planting the evidence, highly unlikely. too big of a deal to do such a thing.

OK, like I said, I'll believe it when I see it and get to read some critical analysis. If it's accurate, ok...I'll conceed it's there.

So you're back to square one, because a lot of the left already assumed some WMDs would be found. BUT, that doesn't justify war over disarmament. I doesn't answer the claims trumpted up by the administration by that turned out to be untrue, like the two trailers the UK sold Iraq to inflate weather balloons, or the aluminium tubes the UK sold Iraq for convential warhead missiles. It doesn't justify the liberation and democracy claims that the administration made that they have not held up on. It doesn't justify the repeat violations of international law and the UN Charter.

It merely means that there was justification for disarmament from the UN.

I would say either it's less than your conservative news sources have made it out to be, or people are waiting for Kay to come out with his findings.

under resolution 1441 it states that if disarmament does not take place, bombing must resume. that is the only reason we stopped bombing in the first place. thats the only reason 1441 was created. and no, germany sold iraq several mobile laboratories, fuck the weather ballon shit.
