well from what ive read in my constitution and my copy of the federalist papers. it really took the sum totall of political knowledge up to that time and works out a sensible system. that DID allow itself to be ammended and adapted and interpreted. i feel that the growing sense of apathy and lethargy in american society allowed NOT THE CONSTITUTION BUT THE GOVERNMENT THAT IS SHAPED AROUND IT to become bent. Maybe in a way it could be too open. maybe it might need a modern re-write. but in and of itself i find nothing wrong with it. eh, what do i know....i took an oath to support it not the government. |
