dean for president

during the bush bash committee last night howard dean was asked what his favorite song was and he responded with a track by wyclef jean.. how fuckin pathetic.. could this guy be anymore predictable? i can see dean in his car droppin some hip hop.

it was rather amuzing watching the 9 dwarf's take cheap shots at the president and not one of them had a positive thing to say about any issue, and not one of the candidates stated what direction they would lead the country. it was merely a campaign to bash bush rather than speak about political issues. laughable.

Tue, but when's the last time there was a political race based on the issues and not how much you can diss your opponent? The entire politcal arena really has become a laughable knockoff of the WWF.

haha.. al sharpton accused bush of being a bully in the war on terror- albeit he threatened some protesters in the audience earlier by telling them quote: "if you guys have something to say, come say it to me and my entourage".

maybe the answer is in he middle?

you know compromise a little bit.

So let me get this straight. You can overlook lying by a president. You can overlook the sacrificing of American lives for politics. You can overlook ludicrous and irresponsible economic policies. You can overlook the shredding of our civil rights. You can even overlook a president selling out his own "conservative" ideals to try and boost his voting base. But you draw the line at someone who identifies a Wyclef Jean song as their favorite? Well, this is pretty much par for the course for you. I should have learned by now not to be shocked at the stupidity spewing from you keyboard.

that's hardly a threat. i mean if protestors only have
enough balls to shout their grievances from a distance
rather than say it to his face, then that's their problem.

although... i don't think they'd actually get close enough
to the guy seeing as how he most likely has body guards...

anyhow, the phrase doesn't strike me as a threat.

furthermore, bush was a bully for sure.
1) giving countries ultimatums and 2) telling
them what their obligations are [as if they did not
know for themselves] and 3) going behind the back
of the U.N. [then having the nerve to try and ask
them for help in Iraq after the fact] LOL!

he was very pushy.
no doubt.

no, that just leads to reification of the status quo.

I think what he means is that white people shouldn't be listening to that colored people music.

overlook irresponsible econ policies? say's who? you? because he's not spending ½ of a trillion dollars on healthcare? half of our defecit is based on our sluggish economy. and the seconed leading factor is the war on terror. when clinton left office he had called for a 15% increase in non-defense discretionary spending. when bush was sworn into office, his first year he cut it down to 6%, the seconed year he cut it to 5%, and this year its down to 2%. so please, enough of the irresponsible economics banter. i dont have a problem with some of the laws that have to be passed to track down enemies on our homeland. and from many foreigners i have talked to they arent bothered by the bills either.
spare me ryan- howard dean trying to reach out to the minorities with this foolishness? please.. what a joke.. his advisors have lost it.
and ryan, you would have no problem with clinton running again as you would vote for him in a heartbeat im sure; being that he did not have sexual relations with miss lewinsky. you want to talk about lying under oath. and setting a good example for the american family.
