Apparently if you have a license plate cover.. you know the lil decorative ones around you license plates that has your school colors or some colorful expression about liking whores... etc..


if the top part covers the Word Texas in anyway, it's a $200 fine.

Yeah. Just saw the story on the 10 pm news. Also, anything that is "reflective" such as stickers, etc. or "changes the color of the plates" is also now considered illegal under the law. Just make sure your #'s & the whole word TEXAS shows and your good to go.

The one that gets me the most is the cameras that catch speeders. People protest those things, saying it's a violation of privacy, though they are exceeding the speed limit on a public roads.
