Very positive article. Thanks to all the people who wrote letters.

Let's keep writing letters, to city council, to Observer, and to Dallas Morning News. A lot of times Observer articles will prompt Dallas News to do articles, especially with pressure from the community.

On top of that, it won't answer the question--How do we stop loitering in Deep Ellum?--that the police seem to think it will.

"The problems they're having in Deep Ellum, which is where this all stemmed from, this has nothing to do with after-hours," Nedler says. "This has to do with people who don't even go to clubs anyway. The problem they have in Deep Ellum are people on the street.

I'm glad that was in there. Hopefully the people who need to will take note of that. I also like the bit of sunshine at the end with a (slim) possibility of doing away with the cerfew nonsense altogether.
