I'm leaving on Saturday for wilderness survival/tracking school up east. For those of you that care, I'll be back for a couple of weeks in December, then after that it'll probably be somewhere near a year if I can help it. If all goes well, I'm going to hike all 2,100 miles of the Appalachian trail. I've started a LiveJournal for anybody that wants to keep track of my progress. You can find it here: http://www.livejournal.com/users/zymote So long DDM!

Good luck on your trip. Especailly your trip on the AT. Its something that I want to do one of these days...esp if I ever get Layed off anywere close to March or April. If you haven't checked it out yet hit up http://trailplace.com/ for some good links and board about preping for the trail. Wingfoot also puts together a damn good guide book of sites along the trail and other spots where you might want to go shoppign for food, or have a drop delivered. Casey |
