well lets see. they both presided during economic difficulty. they both have spent more on the military than thier predicessors. both have falsified information to justify war.
both have erroded personal freedoms and privacy. both remained afloat by apealling to nationalistic and racist fears.
both have wrongfully imprisoned people with no justification and held them wrongfully.
both have had essentially meaningless military careers that later turned into a facination with militarisim and blind obediance.
both parties they belonged to have squelched and smashed oposition to thier beliefs and have won elections on fear, intimidation and outright fraud.
