| The only man in DFW that receives medical marijuana from the federal government
Only six other people in America are allowed to get such a prescription. Check out his new book at Amazon. Seems like a very interesting read. I've looked over studies on medical marijuana, but I must say that I've learned most about the drug war by reading about people's personal experiences with the system. George McMahon suffers from a rare genetic disorder, Nail Patella Syndrome, and is only one of seven people in America that are allowed a prescription of marijuana from the federal govt (300 joints a month to replace the 400 medical morphine pills he was taking). By all means buy this book (check out the reviews), and read about the system many people are up against to get the medicine they need. |

Most leftest ideology is based upon the idea that evil is the result of social conditions/injustice, and simple misunderstandings. Man's nature is seen as both inherently good and infinitely malleable. It is believed that man can be made into something better through education and other social endeavors. The truth is that human nature is not inherently good and neither is terribly changable. Any system that denies the truth about human nature will be the victim of it. Communism is only one of the more horrific examples of this fundamental truth. I understand why you're a socialist. You want to make the world a better place. What you need to understand is that not everyone can be helped and those who can are best served by providing them with the opportunity to help themselves. | |

of course they'd rather you be on morphine. poppy plants are nearly impossible to grow without the exact right conditions. just like peyote. if weed was legal, it'd be practically free everywhere as each pothead would start up that dream grow he's been itching to do for decades. i wonder if I could get a greenhouse to simulate thailand or afghanistan? then you could make with the opium.... problem is, though, opium/heroine/morphine is some thief ass shit that steals people and destroys lives. it should never be made legal |

My mother could probably use some of nature's remedy for all the eye problems she has. But, even if they did make it legal she wouldn't be caught dead burning one because it's been so criminalized. She might concede if they put it in a pill and slapped Pfeizer on it. Even that would be a tough debate.
