Michael Moore - an honest man While I certainly appreciate Mr. Moore's contributions to the national politcal debate his tendency for embellishment and misleading his audience (don't want to get into another Bowling for Columbine debate) make his intellectual integrity questionable. |

You can dance as late as you want - but where may be limited and it has always been so. I agree that marijuanna should be legal - but - you've not had any "right" to smoke it removed - you've never had it in the first place - can't take something away that you don't have. Sure - alcohol is a problem - but that says nothing about your freedom - it says that alcohol is a problem Guns - guns you do have a right to possess - but this right and freedom you lament? Wow - you complain about losing freedoms you never had, about things that don't relate to freedom and finally you complain that certain freedoms do exist - - still shaking my head

freedom = the ability to decide what is right for you.... not some things which the lawmakers feel is right, therefore there really is no such thing as freedom.... it is an illusion!!! btw: i did say i could not dance anywhere LEGALLY until 8 am!!!!! therefore i do not have the freedom to decide what time my bedtime should be.... the good people who get rich off of my vote took care of that for me.....

1. Guns - please see the passage of yours that I quoted - the last word you used was "guns." 2. I am a bit confused about your definition of freedom and its follow-up comment. Who is telling you you must think a certain way? And, if they are doing so - why do you listen to them? 3. You can dance in your bedroom till whatever time you want legally. You can go to bed whenver you'd like. 4. Who got rich off your vote and how? you sound like you've been grounded and you're mad at Mommy and Daddy you have as much freedom as you wish to exercise - for example - you are exercising a freedom and a right to speak your mind in this forum

n. The condition of being free of restraints. Liberty of the person from slavery, detention, or oppression. Political independence. Exemption from the arbitrary exercise of authority in the performance of a specific action; civil liberty: freedom of assembly. Exemption from an unpleasant or onerous condition: freedom from want. The capacity to exercise choice; free will: We have the freedom to do as we please all afternoon. Ease or facility of movement: loose sports clothing, giving the wearer freedom. Frankness or boldness; lack of modesty or reserve: the new freedom in movies and novels. The right to unrestricted use; full access: was given the freedom of their research facilities. The right of enjoying all of the privileges of membership or citizenship: the freedom of the city. A right or the power to engage in certain actions without control or interference: “the seductive freedoms and excesses of the picaresque form” (John W. Aldridge). THAT TO ME IS FREEDOM... THE ABILITY TO SAY AND DO WHAT I CHOOSE WITHOUT THE WORRY THE KARMA POLICE IS GOING TO COME LOCK ME UP.... We live in a fascist society disguised as a democracy, and you sheep are the ones who buy into the illusion which is patriotism..... Smoke and mirrors!!!

Please DO stand up for what you believe in. What might that be? Those you point out are only telling you what to do if you listen and obey them. What gives them the right to makes laws? The Constitution.
