I'll only believe it when they start showing shots of the big 5-story balloons with Iraqi cartoon characters floating down Main Street in Baghdad! But I would settle for a Ferris Beuhler's Day Off sort of scenario with people dancing in unison and doing crazy flips while Bush is up on a float singin' his heart out.

It's happening all over Tv. Trucks filled with people all through the streets. Honking, etc. What was really intresting was seeing the Iraqi Communist party celebration at their headquarters.

Yes, sure you did. Im sure they are the only 50 or so -about the 25 million people that are happy that saddam was captured.

You think?

Hahahah, thousands of people in the streets out of 25 million is pretty low odds. I would think that there would have been alot more celebration if they truly cared, which is becoming more evident every day that they do not.

Yes, and amazingly, there were NO people dancing and celebrating in the street here in America.

When crowds gather do celebrate the capture of saddam it is dismissed as propaganda by the left

When crowds gather to protest US presence then it is the voice of all Iraqis.

Hypocrits

Not so. I would imagine most Iraqis celebrated the capture of Saddam. Some didn't. A lot of Iraqis protest the US. Some don't. There's just not an equal balance of reporting on all of those positions in the media.

Not from me sir, I laugh just as hard about these "protests" that consist of a couple hundred people.

The bottom line is the media spins all this crap way out of proportion. We have no idea what is really going on over there if all our info is gathered from the news.

I did catch a somewhat decent doco on Discovery last night about Life After Saddam, it was pretty good for the most part.
