Judge overturns late-term abortion law

RICHMOND, Virginia (AP) -- A federal judge has ruled Virginia's ban on a type of late-term abortion is unconstitutional, striking down a law that uses language mirroring the federal ban signed into law last year.

My understandng of the drafting of this bill was that it was sloppy.

Failed to include health exception - I'm curious how it is safer to partially deliver a baby then kill it to save the mother - seems like an extra step in the process - why not just deliver it - that's faster - it's still gotta come out. I'd really like to hear a medical defense to why it is safer to kill the child then deliver it to save the mother...

Anyway - theprivacy issues still I think trump the other considerations involved.

Additionally, my understanding was that this bill did not properly establish by-pass proceudres for minor pregnant mothers to avoid getting parental permission for an abortion.

The wording in the bill was very discriminatory, using certain verbage to "scare" tax payers, in turn supporting the bill as is.

right...left...

they both frame language to have impact....

"pro-choice" = "pro-abortion" "pro-death" - you've heard these terms

the left has plenty for the right as well and I won't bore anybody with them - it pretty clear most of you know them
