Sure, anything can be made illegal but can anything be made a crime? No, I think not. A crime has to, at a minimum involve more than one person. Man's law only applies whence another person is involved or affected. Possession is a crime of status, and the only one of its kind. (Yes, I mean possession of anything!) A judgment on status is reserved exclusively to God.
