FS: 12" Powerbook G4 - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

testing the waters on my powerbook.

I originally bought this unit for Serato but ive been using it more and more for Logic so id rather pass this notebook onto someone needing something a bit more mobile and step up to a MacPro desktop.

Its about as clean as you will find used. no big scrathces, no big scuffs... kept in a clean smoke free environment

1.33 PowerPc G4
768 DDR SDRAM (can be upgraded to 2 Gig i believe)
60 Gig HD
Bluetooth
Airport

Pretty standard off the shelf settings, nothing added that would be out of the ordinary.

This Powerbook does NOT have the superdrive. It reads DVD/CD but only burns CD.

Battery health reads 91%

Comes with all boxes and manuals. I also believe i have some sort of S-video adapter that i havent ever used. Also comes with a Tucano second skin folder bag.

Running OSX 10.4.8

Have OSX 10 disk and manuals as well.

Looking for a local sale. 800 to your door.

Man. I need to buy one soon, but 800 is pricey. I've been seeing them for around 500 online and could afford that on the 15th.

$800 is a little much even though they go for what, 1800 new?... throw it down the stairs a few times and dont tell anyone about it and it should be good for about $500

i'll tell u right now, if i win the lottery and get $4,000 anytime soon, after i buy 2 mackie subs and monitors and a FS2, i'll give you a call

craigslist has 12" running from 650-850.

ebay ranges from 550-800.

I know im on the high end and thats fine by me... its a quality unit kept in quality care.

There are awesome deals to be found online and im not going to fight that... i personally feel that knowing the owner and getting a local sale is worth the extra $.

Keep in mind... i dont need to get rid of this. i love it and for 5-600$ ill just keep it for personal use.

I totally agree with ya. Holler at me if you do decide to go lower man. I just can't drop that much cash right now.
