I'm still torn between what to buy for going digital. Torq or Serato.

don't need all the effects and other goodies built in. other than that, it is stable and runs good. need a rather fast laptop to run it, however.

that is a good question Keith. Seems that they might make their vinyl proprietary though to prevent shopping the product with other companies. to make all control vinyl the same would be a bad decision from the business stand point of it at least

those time encoded vinyls are not universal. I have Serato and my boy has Torq; one of the 1st things we did was try to swap records.
