Needed - Cell phone (Cingular Service)

So tonight at the radio station, I dropped my phone.
Now I have some sort of cellular version of the blue screen of death, but a reboot doesn't seem to fix this one.

I am flat broke for spare money until June 11th, but I desperately, DESPERATELY need to have a phone..

I'm willing to negotiate a trade for permanent ownership of a phone that will work with my service.. Or will take a phone on temporary loan until I can purchase a new one..

Let's make a deal.

If you hav'nt tried this yet;

Remove your battery, and sim....reinsert. Then power on.

( Sounds like your sim might got jarred a lil loose)

That is unless your saying you cracked the crystal in on the screen. If thats the case, you can get it fixed for like $15.00.

If you want I will give the info to someone who can do it for you. ( There in East Dallas)

Yeah that's the first thing I tried.
From a closer investigation it seems that there is some grievous disorder with the joint for the flip screen. Not only does it open and close now, but it wiggles back and forth. It still rings (via vibrate, which was not the mode it was in when it was dropped).. BUT I can't hear anything at all.. And of course can't see anything.

There's a crack in the plastic at that joint, so I suspect a repair would mean a complete replacement of that top portion of my phone.

I might just hit you up for that. My weekend is CRAZY.. 2 gigs (DaDa tonight playing upright bass, and DJing Minc Sunday) and a wedding Sunday afternoon.. So when things slow down enough for me to be able to take the time to meet up with someone, I will hit you up via PM or on MySpace.
