JBL EON 15 High Powered 15 Inch 2 Way Full Range PA Speaker

Anyone know someone who could help me with repair?

When I change the volume it is very scratchy and now there is no sound coming out.

I think the problem is associated with the volume knob not having a proper connection or somthing.

you could bring it by the shop some time during the week (tues - thurs) and I can probably get it fixed for you. If not take it to Freeman Tuell.

You have a dirty volume pot. get some DeOXit from caig - http://store.caig.com/

you can get it at Crossroads Audio or Sound Productions. Just remove the knob from the pot and spray inside the pot shaft and work the control back and forth untill the scratchy sound goes away.

I have had this problem on several Eons and had to replace the entire circuit board that the the volume knob, and ins and outs are on. It's a pretty easy job, you just have to get the replacement card from JBL, or a JBL dealer. Unless of course it is just a dirty pot, then you just clean it.

had a similar problem with my peavey amp sensitivity knob and ladd fixed it up real fast.
