For used gear you pay for what you get. As mentioned this mixer was just purchased in June with hardly any use so it's condition is new. Someone will be saving themselves a few hundred bucks on a "like new" mixer that has just been touched a hand full of times.

For the cost of this mixer brand new or any other pioneer products, as an authorized and certified pioneer dealer, there is an MSRP price and an MAP price. The MSRP for this mixer is $1600 however the MAP is $1299 which is the lowest an authorized dealer can sell this mixer for. So if anyone is thinking of buying a pioneer product lower than the MAP price I will just warn you that the product you probably are getting is either not a true pioneer product or if it is you will be void of any such warranty and sevices on the item.

Are the warranties you received from Pioneer as the purchaser of this mixer in new condition transferable to the buyer of this mixer in used condition?

Because that's really the measure isn't it? How much of a discount will some one demand in exchange for the probable loss of those warranties as well as the claimed minimal "mileage" you put on it?

The warranty cards are unfilled so they can be submitted under the buyers name in its new condition. "I can explain further in detail to the buyer"

In regards to my use of the gear, having established a solid reputation from dealing vinyl and gear in Austin since 2003 I have no desire and/or reason to pull the wool over anyones eyes. I have been a part of the EDM scene across the U.S. for over a decade and my envolvement is to support our community. I want to keep customers as they are the ones that keep me alive.

It just so happened I purchased this mixer at the time I was having my second daughter and due to the demand it takes to raise my kids I have not been able to get on my gear and I do not want them sit there and waste. I would rather put them out there for one of the talented TX locals or an up and comer.

Plus I need to turn that room into a kiddie room.

It does suck when you buy used gear as you never know what you are gonna get.... but it does seem more comfortable when you buy through a store or someone you know.
