Puppies need a home!!! Almost thrown in the river - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

I got this email today from a co-worker:

Please see below and photos of these gorgeous puppies. Please call Diana at cell number 214-686-0832 if you are interested in one (or more).

Yesterday Ron stopped at a store over off Loop 12 to get something to drink. An old man approached him and asked him if he wanted a puppy. Since we already have 3 cats and 2 dogs, he said no. Well, the old man proceeded to tell Ron that the man who had the puppies had been out there trying to get rid of them and since no one would take them he was on his way to the Trinity River to throw them in and go home!!! Well, Ron headed the man off about half way to the river and brought home all NINE puppies in a laundry basket! They are now in our bathtub! I am so thankful that Ron came along when he did. I hate to think what would have happened to these adorable puppies had he not! PLEASE, if you or anyone you know can give one a GOOD home, let me know. They are about 6 weeks old and look like maybe a Boxer/Shepherd mix.

Sorry these pictures are so huge...i'm not sure how to make them smaller. They're SO ADORABLE

Awe, those poor little pups. I wish I could have one! Too bad I'm a horrible puppy parent... since I'm never home and I don't live close enough to work to walk a dog during the day.

those are good looking pups... im surprised no one bought them on the side of the road... if they wouldnt grow to be so damn big i would take one or two

I can't believe that guy was seriously going to throw them in the river!!! I hope you can find good homes for them. I wish I could take one but I'm at school 10+ hours per day M-F.

those ears look so small in comparison to their heads. I wouldn't be surprised if they stood straight up when they got a little bit older.

My Jaymie when she was a puppy. She was already trying to pick up her ears. But you can see how small they are in proportion to her head

and now they stand straight up

so yeah, I think they might be Boxer mixes. I can tell by the snouts too. But you never really know. One of my past dogs was a mixed puppy which came to be a complete surprise when he grew up. Boxers are great dogs, though.
