And actually, this one is for my mother, but if anyone has another compy they would like to part with I need one myself. I have a 1.5, 1g ram that keeps overheating and I need to replace it. I would like to just replace the motherboard and processor if possible. Also have 3 IDE hard drives that would like to go in there too.

I've got a dell optiplex 755 4 gb ram. I know the processor is over 1.5 gb duo core. I have used it only for music production and have used it for about 3 months and do not need it anymore. I got a new pc for christmas. This one is in tip top shape you dont need to do anything to it. You can add a larger hard drive though, the hard drive is 80 gb and I also have a 250 gb hard drive I can sell with it. $ 500 even. it cost about 800 or more for this pc. the 250 gb hard drive 30 dollars.

there is a place in Dallas that sells used pcs they are at 10825 Garland Road, Dallas TX 75218. place is called DBA Tran Computers. i stopped in there the other day to see what they had and they have rows and rows of used pcs for cheap. you could pick one up and with very little work you could have something good for your mom. |
