Anyone have the mac install disc for OSX 10.3 or 10.4???!!
Hello, I have a powerbook g4 laptop that I recently had to do an original software restore on. Now all my apps won't work cause they are for OS X 10.4 (it restored to OS X 10.2).

This has brought many daily functions of mine to a screeching halt, if have these discs I'd be very grateful if you could help me out.

There are some cracked disks around. Check the torrent sites you can get a disk image that you can just burn and install.

Nah i think hes saying that each disc is machine specific as in it has an id or serial code that links the specific boot disc to a specific computer/lap top(machine)

i dont know if that's a new thing or not then because we had a single Mac OS X disk that we used on 6 different crash boxes up at the office, it wasnt a burn copy, it was the original.

Bingo, if you have a packaged disk that shipped with say a Macbook pro it will only install on Macbook pro machines. If you purchased a retail copy you can install it on any model of mac.
