Dog walker? Nope- Dog runner!

As you know, dogs love to run. Unfortunately, most people don't have the time or energy to run with their dogs.

Most dogs spend all their time indoors, waiting for their owners to come home... only to be taken on a slow walk around the block. IF that even.

Hyper dogs need to be worked out. They need someone who can run with them and work out their energy. A dog who has less energy is easier to train and more enjoyable to have in the house.

If you live in DFW and would like to have your dog taken on a run, I can do it.

Feel free to PM me to setup an appointment. I will come meet your dog and get to know him/her before going on our first run.

Just like people, dogs can't go out and run miles at a time. We will start at .25 or .50 of a mile and work our way up to 3 miles.

The pace will be determined by your dog, but I can run up to a 8:30 minute mile.

NOTE:
- No aggressive dogs.
- Your dog must be trained to walk on a leash.

I also think that dogs don't get to run like they want to, because their owners can't/won't run with them. So I figured I would offer up my services.

My boyfriend use to try to take our dogs running with him, didn't work out to well.

One dog would want to stop and sniff anything, the other dog gets scared of loud noises a lot and BOTH pull on their leashes when I walk them.

Can you teach dogs how to walk on a leash the right way? If so, I might take you up on that lol

My Mom took her dog to Petsmart for some of their classes though, and her dog is well trained. You might want to check that out.

Absolutely. And dog owners know if their dogs are meant to run or not. Obviously, a bull dog is NOT running.

And that is why I will start them out with a short distance. If the dog can't run that distance, then they will walk. I'm not going to drag them behind me while I run. It's about the dog. Not me.
