That eon is probably your best bet then. either that or you might be able to find a mackie srm350/450 or a c200 for pretty cheap. That would be good enough.

If you are in the market for new. You should check out the ne QSC K series. They sound amazing, have plenty of power and don't weigh anything

there is a mackie 10 at the pawn shop on gville next to revolution pipe store south of lovers. i was just in there the other day. i would grab it. you could prolly get em down to 300$.

the 10 inch version of the bigger mackies ala the 450 you posted. i had one that got stolen out of my garage. i liked it alot for monitoring, its lighter and mackies are always loud.

That would be perfect for what you want. Im partial to the JBL's but a lot of people use Mackies

the mackies and qscs are your best bet for resaleablilty and sound. mackies 450s are too harsh for me, but they are really loud for the size. QSC has out done everyone, and most of the enclosures are built from wood.

Your opinion is valid, no offense taken. I don't like the mackies because most people push them hard and they are way too harsh for me. The JBL's have a more pure sound at regular volumes IMO. You are right about the quality though. Unless well taken care of, they are very prone to falling apart.

I'm not sure where you get your info from. I would rather have an eon over a mackie any day of the week. I own 10 eons and have never had a problem w/ any of them. Sound is flat and clear not colored like the mackies. Plus they don't go into thermal every time you try and get any volume out of them. Now the QSC's are just Nice all the way around.

What about the Pravey PR15? Eric had his up at Whisky for a few months and it seemed to do alright. Thoughts?

I'll be leaving this one in their office, but in case it was used by someone else I wouldn't care as much as if it was a Mackie or JBL.
