Antity Entertainment presents the “From the Bedroom to the Mainroom” DJ Contest - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

To continue with the fresh vibe that is reigniting the Dallas dance scene, we wanna give one of you out there your time to showcase your skillz outside of your bedroom walls. We know fresh talent is just oozing in the Metroplex that needs to be discovered, so jocks and jocketts let your mixing do all the talking for you.

Antity Entertainment invites you to bring da heat and show your madness on the decks. We are looking for some new dance floor assassins that are ready to handle a big room crowd, but just don’t have the avenues to get played out. Well, that’s where we come in and get you the well-deserved exposure you dream about for all those long nights of perfecting your craft. We welcome all genres; just remember to get funky on those decks.

This is what you gotta do to enter, simply bring an unmarked demo (with no identifying marks on the cd) to the Aftershock (CZR, David Garcia, Frankie Vega) show at Club One on July 9th. We will be taking demos up until midnight that night so make sure you get there with plenty of time.

All demos will be collected and numbered to match the contact info we log from you at the show. We will have a small panel of djs, promoters, and music enthusiasts judge them without knowing who the mixes are by. After they decide on the mix then Antity will declare the official winner.

The winner gets:

- To play on the main stage at a party hosted by Antity Entertainment with a huge name dj TBA soon @ Club One.

- Your demo distributed to promoters all throughout the state.

- 3 free passes for you and your friends to the massive House of Antity/Devotion’s Breakin’ Da House show on Oct. 1, with djs to be announced soon.

The winner will be announced on August 1st on DDM and will be contacted personally.

Hells yea this is such a great idea I think this is going to open the doors for so many new cats to showcase themselves. I can honestly and personally say that this crew knows how to treat its artists. So show up and showcase what you got.

Seriously though, we really are hoping some people bring their mixes out because we are going to listen to them all and throw all of our promoting muscle behind the winner.

how long does the CD have to be?
for instance can some one enter a 30 minute mix and get the same chance of winning as some one handing in a 60+ minute mix?
