KNON Rocket Radio - Friday Night Show (THANK YOU!!!)

I wanted to say thank you first to all of our listeners for the few moments we were off the air...due to there being some major electrical outages in and around the area the studio was hit and so we were down for about 20 minutes, but, when it came back up we jumped back full force.

Thank you to Mist for spinning a somewhat short set so that he could be certain to pick up his lovely wife from Crave before it became too late.. but, who will also be spinning next Friday (again) from 1240am to 120am to make up for the power outage and his set having to be cut short as it was.

All around though, he did an amazing job, brought in some incredible new sound and I was impressed with all he shared. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you next weekend as well.


Also... OMG... make my cheeks turn red and me get all girly... DJ Simon (Charlie) pulls out none other than Blank and Jones remix of "A Forrest" by/with Robert Smith (of The Cure) - The Trance Version... and mixed it for me.... and not only did he have my cheeks full on red blushing, there were a few tears I had to quickly whipe away from my eyes. Not only becaues I love the song itslef, love the remake, but, becaue he took two of something that were very important to me and he included it in his set... and it was for me and it was nice... so I got a bit girly/weepy.

So, Charlie... you have outdone many and I want to say thank you for that intro track but also thank you for that incredible banging trancy/tech set you pulled off tonight. It was truly incredible. Thank you thank you thank you.


But much Thanks again to both Mist and DJ Simon for coming to the studio, dealing with the power outage yet both putting together incredible sets that had me wanting to just bounce off the walls in the studio.

Thanks guys... and thank you as well Sabrina for trusting my ear and allowing me the opportuinity to bring some of these amazing local DJ's to the station to get some airtime.

No problem, I'm glad you liked it...I just wish I could have mixed a cleaner set, but hey...I couldn't really hear the monitors. Ya, thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I think it was one of the cleaning people... I could be wrong though... you know I always grab yer butt when you are well aware it's me doing it.

Thanks again btw, you had me really wishing AL would hurry up and open back up because I was bouncing off the walls and wanted to go somewhere and dance my ass off until the sun came up.

Too bad there wasn't anywhere to go... but tonight, oh yes, tonight there will be much dancing.... I do hope you consider coming out.
