I got a call from John Walker a few days ago and it's taken me quite a while to really come to grips with what's happend. April Holland, my dear friend, talented artist and all around sunshine girl has passed. She will be sorely missed. She joins my dear firends and loved ones keepin watch. I miss her already. At my big orange birthday party, Citrique, her gift to me was a work of her art. . . A surreal, Seussian, orange Orchid. It will always laugh her laugh, dance her dance and encourage me the way only she could. Both John Walker and I had our first 'big' gigs playing one of her legendary parties at her place on Gaston. Those parties were magical. DJ careers started there. MAtt Chivian and Cobias met there for the first time. They have been inseperable ever since and just married this may. Her life changed the world. I wish her to be remembered for the Godess she will always be.

Yeah i got a call from Nina and chatted with Slaughter and Josh M a bit about her.

Totally sux, April was truly a ball of light that touched my life in a very special way. Her art was so amazing, her shows were a BLAST to play at, and she was just a down chick!!

Well, I believe our body is a mere car, so have fun wherevere you are cruisn now April!!

John I've had you in my mind all week. My early memories of April are so inexorably woven in with our first sets together overlooking that long pool with all the fountains. I'm still in hardcore shock. . . I'd like to get you and I and her other friends together to give our girl a proper send off. . . Don't feel right unless we say good-bye to her the way we said hello.

Man, hope that girl's into hauntings, cuz the painting's goin up right over the decks.
